>Do we expect you to talk? No! We expect you to die!!

Starting out with some shout outs, we delve into some rumors then move on to news and events. A quick battle report is followed by some more news and a quick review of The Chapter’s Due by Graham McNeil.

Segment 2 is all about reserves and deployment – what goes where, when and how.

The show ends with segment 3. We remind our listeners about the music contest for a Horus Heresy board game and close with asking our listeners to submit some Over-rated/Under-rated pieces as well as Pimp My List suggestions. That’s right, we’re going retro.

We hope you enjoy this show and want you to remember all the animals that died to make William Shatner’s hair piece.

We’re pretty sure there is no 40K podcast with more episodes, so we’ll claim the prize. Quantity over quality all the way!

Special thanks to Ben D. and David N. who are both helping keep the show going strong!

The first segment starts with paint pots and Advanced Tau Tactica before getting into a battle report with Rich’s first try at Tyranids and then ends with advice to Graham McNeil, the Black Library author.

The second segment is Dan’s baby. He mothered it and gave it the bitty and it grew into a piece about building a good list with optimization and having fun.

The third segment is all about the Tau and how they can beat Necrons. It goes on for about 15 minutes, so you know it wasn’t just about phase out.

We also remind you that there are 2 weeks left in the original intro music competition contest where the prize is a Horus Heresy board game from Fantasy Flight Games.

We hope you enjoy this show but remind you that guys like us had it made, those were the days!

Someone comes to town and someone leaves town. At least that is what we saw.

For segment 1 we give thanks to a two people who donated to the show and then we delve into a light week of rumors. Then we learn that CSwizzy finally got his White Dwarf before we get into a short piece of GW pricing policy and the real cost of a model.

Then there is an interview with Mack Martin from Fantasy Flight Games.

Then segment 2 kicks off with some campaign talk and how a campaign can be cool.

We close the show with an off the cuff segment about doing something you may not be comfortable with.

We hope you enjoy Episode 89 and remind you that Jabba the Hut is not a good role model

We are deeply troubled by the loss of 40K Radio today and we are saddened by the events that ultimately led to Spencer closing his doors. While it is no secret we had professional disagreements, we had no personal conflicts with Spencer. We are just learning about the events of the last few days and we are appalled!

The actions of the person or persons responsible for sending Spencer threats are, indeed, cowardly on an unthinkable scale. There has been much misinformation going around as to who is responsible and it appears that it may never be clear. While it is hard for us to fathom anyone making this threat, rather than engage upon a witch hunt we are going to drop it. It’s a sad enough day. This persons actions are not condoned by Dice Like Thunder or its hosts. Personal attacks and threats have no place in the 40k Podcasting community and is not something we have or will engage in. We whole heartedly condemn the letter that caused this chain of events.

To the rumor mill: You have our official response. Your services are no longer required. We will delete posts about this topic from our forums that involve any name calling or attacks on anyone who might be involved.

To Spencer and 40K Radio: We wish you luck in your future endeavors. While we may not have always seen eye to eye, you set a standard. You blazed a trail for other podcasts to follow and you inspired us weekly to keep podcasting. You are welcome on our show any time.

To everyone else out there: Break out your models and let’s roll some dice!

In segment two, Arnold Schwarzenegger makes a brief visit with us while we talk about tournaments before we mention that we will be running a tournament in the near future.

Segment three was a quickie that hopefully was as good for as it was for us.

But we do know that in Segment 1 we discuss a bunch of things like Grey Knight rumors and how the Dark Eldar get the shaft again.

The second segment we give a review of the Horus Heresy board game then delve into internet gaming aids.

The third segment we talk about a 1500 point Chaos Space Marine list and then challenge the Imperial Vox Cast to better it or beat it. Then the show ends on a rant from Chris.
