This is quite a change of pace and style from the opening. Good to see you are keeping to your commitment! I’m holding judgement till I’ve read a few more chapters, but that last line doesn’t work with the preceding paragraph: nothing in the penultimate paragraph suggests he wouldn’t attend, nor is the pace right to throw it in as end of section humour.
Keep it it, I’m interested to see how it goes but don’t write more until we get our Rogue Trader special edition.
