Where was I? Oh yeah. I wasn’t going to do this because it just seemed like such a non-sequitur from the site. While DLT is expanding to encompass more gaming stuff I just couldn’t convince myself that there was a place for me to attempt to write a novel.
I really want to try my hand at it. Having a website and a weekly deadline (one chapter a week!) would really help me knuckle down and get it done. But can I write a novel? Am I able? We all think we can but so few of us do more than short stories.
I was then reminded that the purpose of the new DLT is “Flagrant Nerdetry”. Or rather a return to our old purpose. Lots of 40k, DnD & all the things I like. Part of that should be non-gaming right? Discussions of things we as a group enjoy that might not be gaming!
Richard love Star Trek, Dan loves… Dan. So really there is a place for us to discuss these things. To try new things. So screw you guys… I’m gonna write a damn novel. You guys get to suffer through it one chapter at a time. Or not, It’s up to you.
